      Lab equipments are regularly serviced and kept in good working condition. Minor repairs are attended locally and major repairs are outsourced.

Computation facilities

  

      Our college has more than a dozen computer laboratories with a total number of 769 terminals in the ratio of 3:1.We also provide Internet facility with 2Mbps for the benefit of students and staff.

  

Library facilities

  

      We have a fully facilitated spacious state of art library with collection of 24, 333 books related to electrical, electronics, computer science, instrumentation, management, mathematics, mechanical and other related disciplines in a spacious library. The library subscribes to 89 National Print Periodicals and 15 International Print Periodicals.

Online Access to 233 IEEE and IEE Periodicals has been made through AICTE – INDEST Consortium. Apart from these, online access is available for about 15 selective management titles from Sage Publishers. There are about 950 CDs in the library.

A Digital Library with resources like Project Reports of students, in-house publications and question papers has been developed. Transactions have been automated. OPAC facility facilitates the users to search the collection and reserve the required book. There is a separate Back Volume Section which comprises of the journals subscribed in the previous years.

The other important sections like Reprography, Video and Reference help the users to use the library in a better way. The Library follows Open Access System. The library is open for 12 hours a day from Monday to Friday. The New Arrivals are displayed in a prominent place to help the users to be aware of the new books that are added to the library collection. Our College is a corporate member of IIT Madras Central Library and a member of Anna University Central Library.

  

Hostel facilities

  

      We provide good hostel facility and hospitality with healthy and hygienic food for our hostel students. The calm and beautiful environment is conducive for studies, suitable for walkers to have a pleasant walk on the well laid pavements under the natural avenues and lawns.

      There are two separate hostels for boys and girls accommodating about 1200 students. All the hostels have necessary infrastructure and modern kitchen. The inmates are provided with a cot, a chair and a table. There is a cooperative store available in the hostel, to serve the day-to-day needs of the inmates. Hostel admission form is available in the hostel office for sale on payment.

Transport facilities

  

      Numerous hi-tech buses are being operated in most parts of urban and suburb of Chennai for the convenience of our students and staffs.
