Valliammai Engineering College, a member of SRM Group of Institutions, was established in the year 1999. The department of Computer Science and Engineering came into existence from the very inception of the college. Initially, the annual intake was 60. In tune with the growing demand profile globally for CSE, the intake level was enhanced to 120 in the year 2000 – 2001 and onwards.
